Creative Direction
Studio TSL was founded by Creative Director Johanna van der Merwe, whose approach to interior design blends creative intuition with technical understanding. She believes thoughtful design shapes how people experience a space, influencing everything from atmosphere and mood to how it functions in daily life.
With extensive experience across interior design and sourcing, Johanna brings a refined sensitivity to materials, light and spatial balance. Through Studio TSL, and its connection to The Sourcing Lab showroom, she leads a collaborative design process that translates ideas into interiors that feel considered, personal and timeless.
